Arrived to a warm welcome from reception staff, I was swiftly checked in and given directions to my room. When I entered the room it was extremely clean, spacious and bright, the bed is massive and very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and the shower was powerful and hot. I was in room 306 on the 3rd floor, the room was rear facing over looking the train freight depot - This is a very busy depot so can be noisy at times however, with the windows shut it was fine. At dinner most of the staff where great, there was one lady who seemed to be doing all the work, then now and again you'd see the other guy show up, the lady font of house seemed very happy in what she was doing, please give this lady a pat on the back or even a pay rise. I normally go for a Premier inn however after my stay this week i will start to look for Mercure hotels. Finally, after a long day at work I'd always comeback to the hotel and my room had been made up with fresh towels and bed made, you don't normally get this at Prem inn. thanks, i look forward to my return.

Stayed here on my birthday night with my wife the hotel is fantastic a very lovely welcome as we arrived by the reception team we was given our room on 3rd floor room was very clean and had everything we needed in the room we got ready and went for a drink at the bar again staff are really friendly we decided to eat there the meal was lovely we had a lovely meal would highly recommend this hotel we definitely picked the right hotel definitely stay here again Thank you Mark stocks

Amazing shampoo

I had a great midweek stay for work. The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for me. The room was spotlessly clean with amazing smelling shampoo. The breakfast had a wide selection and was hot and tasty. All in all a great stay thank you Mercure Sheffield Parkway.

Dear oh dear Where do I start Came here today at £110 per night (9-5-24) for 2 nights...went to the room which was OK, a bit dated but acceptable.....tiles on bathroom floor loose but acceptable ish.....got in the shower, got wet....,two bottles on the wall,one says shampoo the other says bodywash......bodywash empty......this is not going too well....went downstairs for evening meal......stopped at reception on the way to ask if anyone could explain why I paid £110 a night for a room with no bodywash, mmm I'll get you some was the reply, too late was my reply, I want to cancel tomorrow night........so I did..........went to the restaurant next.....paid £17.50 for a tiddler covered in batter with dry chips and an extra £4.50 for"beer battered onion rings"....straight from the freezer at Iceland ......ITS NOT MY MONEY, BUT I WONT EVEN SPEND COMPANY MONEY ON THIS...

Had a great 2 day course here. Comfortable accommodation. Handy parking, and easily accessible. The team couldn’t do enough for us. Brilliant Yorkshire Hospitality. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a stay or meeting
